What is GPS
Spoofing & Jamming
GPS interference can disrupt the signals aircraft rely on for accurate positioning, navigation, and tracking.
OPERATIONS
Detect GPS interference before it impacts operations.
Contact SalesAirNav’s Real-Time GPS Accuracy and Integrity Monitoring System provides visibility into regions where GPS navigation is disrupted by jamming or spoofing. By analyzing ADS-B navigation quality indicators (NIC, NACp, and SIL) alongside positional anomalies across thousands of flights, the system detects and maps emerging interference patterns as they develop.
Our high traffic volume allows us to analyze accuracy and integrity data from multiple aircraft in geographic clusters. When a cluster shows an average degradation in integrity parameters, it strongly indicates disrupted navigation quality in that area.
GPS interference can disrupt the signals aircraft rely on for accurate positioning, navigation, and tracking.
Spoofing transmits counterfeit GPS signals designed to imitate legitimate ones. These false signals can mislead a receiver into calculating an incorrect position, heading, or time.
Jamming overwhelms legitimate GPS signals with radio-frequency interference. When this happens, a receiver may be unable to calculate its position, lose navigation accuracy, or display unreliable location data.
This data is available as periodically updated KML/GeoJSON files, through the data stream (with original or regional accuracy/integrity parameters), or via notifications, such as an aircraft entering a region of low accuracy.

01.
Identify regions where aircraft positional accuracy is degraded, helping uncover potential GPS jamming, spoofing, and other navigation disruptions affecting flight operations.
Low (0-2%)
Areas where GPS data is consistently accurate.
Medium (2-10%)
Moderate probabilities of inaccuracies.
High (>10%)
Greater than 10% of data in that region report low GPS accuracy.
Pinpoint geographic areas experiencing degraded GPS performance or potential signal interference.
Recognize areas showing patterns consistent with potential GPS jamming or spoofing activity.
Give flight operations teams greater visibility into navigation conditions across affected airspace.
Track GPS reliability and interference patterns across multiple regions through broad geographic coverage.
Use H3 grid-based analysis to examine interference patterns at a granular geographic level.
Interpret complex GPS accuracy data quickly through intuitive, color-coded interference maps.
